Hallucination Products

“When Artificial Intelligence Was Still Dumb”

Presented as a retro product demonstration, Hallucination Products turns the visual errors of generative AI into impossible consumer goods: a six-fingered glove, an anvil-weighted life jacket, and a shopping cart that cannot carry anything. As people discover unexpected uses for these objects, an optimistic sales pitch spirals into an absurd rebellion, questioning technological progress, consumer culture, and our trust in images.
